Statutory Notary Fee Breakdown (NJ Law)
These fees represent the maximum amount a New Jersey notary may legally charge for the official notarial act itself. All other service fees (travel, time, etc.) are separate.
General Notary Work (GNW): $2.50 per notarial act (Applies to Acknowledgments, Jurats, Oaths/Affirmations, and Proofs of Execution).
Real Estate Transfers (Grantors/Sellers): $15.00 maximum per transaction (regardless of the number of acts performed for the grantors).**
Real Estate Financing (Mortgagors/Borrowers): $25.00 maximum per transaction (regardless of the number of acts performed for the mortgagors).**
Itemized Mobile Service Fees
The fees for your mobile appointment are structured as follows:
Flat Rate fee: $55, Includes a $53.50 Service/Convenience Fee PLUS the $2.50 Statutory Notarial Act Fee for the first seal.**
Additional notarial act/per signer: $5 Includes $2.50 Statutory Fee + $2.50 Administrative Fee (per seal).
Travel Fee (round trip): $.75 per mile
Printing fee: $ .75 per 5 pages

Note on Witnesses
If your document requires witnesses, please ensure you bring them with you to the appointment. Due to the legal impartiality required of a notary, I will not be able to provide or act as a witness for your document.
Other Services
Remote Online Notarization (RON)
$25.00 for the first notarial act + $8.00 for each additional notarial act performed in the same session.
RON Platform Fee Disclaimer
Additional fees may apply depending on the Remote Online Notary platform. Please ensure that an electronic notary seal is permissible for your document's jurisdiction.
I-9 Verification Flat Service Fee
$40.00 plus the applicable Mobile Service Fees.

Fee and Payment Policies
Transparent Pricing: Pricing is determined by two factors: the official statutory notary fee (set by the State of New Jersey) and separate service fees. The service fees account for travel distance, time required for services, and scheduling convenience.

Mobile Notary Service Guidelines
To ensure seamless service and accurate pricing, please adhere to the following:
- Pre-Appointment Confirmation: Complete the website form to discuss and confirm all service requirements and associated fees.
- Required Disclosure: You must provide complete transparency regarding the number and nature of the documents to be notarized.
- Fee Adjustment: If the documents presented upon arrival differ from the confirmed service scope, the agreed-upon fee is subject to change before notarization begins.
- Payment Terms: A detailed invoice will be sent upon confirmation of your appointment, and payment is due immediately upon the conclusion of the notarization service.
Remote Online Notarization (RON): An invoice will be sent immediately after the notarization is complete on the BlueNotary notary platform. You will receive a link to download your notarized documents immediately after the session has concluded.

For your convenience, I accept the following forms of payment:
Digital: Stripe invoicing (includes Apple Pay, Google Pay, ACH, Amazon Pay, Cash App); Paypal
Paper: Money Orders (payable to "Tranquil Notary NJ LLC") & Cash
