Mobile Appointment Details & Policies

No-Show:  

  • If there is a last minute cancellation or a no-show to your appointment,  I may be unable to accommodate future appointments. Please ensure that you are able to be available for your appointment or notify me at least two hours in advance if you need to cancel or reschedule.

Late Fee: 

  • For Mobile appointments, after a 15-minute grace period, there is a late charge of $1 per minute if the signer(s) are not ready when the notary arrives.

Safety and Location:

  • Safety is my #1 priority. Please choose a safe and neutral location for your appointment. Should the location be determined unsafe, I will request a new one; failure to provide an alternative will result in forfeiture of the appointment.

Client Cooperation & Preparation Policy

  • To ensure an efficient and successful notary session, all parties must arrive prepared and cooperate fully with the notarial process.

The session will be concluded without any notarial act if any of the following occurs:

  • The signer is unable to sign willingly or refuses to sign the document.
  • The signer fails to produce the required, valid government-issued identification.
  • The document contains blank spaces that the signer is unwilling to fill or cross out.

Off-Hours Service Surcharge:

  • Please inquire about appointments outside of normal business hours (after 6 pm) and Saturday availability. There is a surcharge of $15 for services rendered outside of normal business hours (this surcharge is added to the regular travel/mobile fee). This surcharge applies to all off-hours matters, including emergency services at locations such as hospitals and hospices.
